Vanessa是一名经验丰富的贷款顾问，曾在中国银行、证券外汇公司积累了丰富的金融和财务工作经验，现就职于欧盛泰德。“爱与自由是我一生的修行”，Vanessa说，“留在英国生活工作于我而言是一件自然而又秩序的事情，也是能让我更加无畏地，自由地，践行人生的修行-心中的爱与自由；而爱不仅仅是指另一半的爱，它是人与人之间的爱，更是对生活的热爱、对生命的敬忱。当然，我也深爱着伦敦这座城市，那里不仅仅有我曾经留学生活的记忆，她/他也是我成长修炼中起着非常重要的角色。 同时， 我也参与并且见证了伦敦的发展。
Vanessa在高中毕业后独自一人赴英国留学，在异国他乡拥有了很多独特的回忆：苦读英国法规以考取驾照、学习照顾自己、感受到自主性学习的重要性……“知识不仅仅是从课堂和书本中学到的，更多的是生活中积累的，”Vanessa回忆，“我在学习英国case law时对真实的案例的探讨，和商业市场的宏观认知，大学期间，也机缘巧合地进入了一所律师实习。提前感受到了专业的可贵和责任。 也是这段学习经历帮助我实现了从学生到‘社会人’的心态转变”。在英国， 无论是学习还是工作生活， 对于周遭的法规法律的熟悉是这个生存的基础。
毕业后，Vanessa曾在伦敦的中国银行担任过贷款顾问。当被问及为何从体制内转行到企业时，她表示自己喜欢具有灵活性的公司和工作性质、希望在职场中改变、拓宽自己，“像海绵一样吸收水分，像弹簧一样张开自己”。Vanessa表示不后悔自己的选择，在欧盛泰德这家有朝气和自我文化价值的公司工作给了她更多机会去探索和提升自我，“我在这里认识了一群志同道合又优秀的同事，每个人身上都有我很欣赏的特质、很强的沟通协作能力和性格魅力”。Vanessa十分享受与人打交道并取长补短的过程。谈及公司同事对自己的印象是“美妆达人”时，Vanessa笑着解释说美妆只是能给自己带来快乐的一个小点、自己也并非很专业，“大概是因为我跟同事们亲近，喜欢与大家分享爱用物好用物才会留下这样的‘错觉’。”
现阶段，Vanessa除了“贷款顾问”外还多了一项新标签—“新手宝妈”。刚刚毕业时的Vanessa同大部分年轻女生一样害怕生育、把“当妈妈”看作是一项责任和负担，而现在，她很享受与宝宝相处的点点滴滴，甜蜜、自豪与满足感早已取代了先前的焦虑与恐惧。“我现在不仅仅是Vanessa，还成为了一个小生命的妈妈，每次怀抱着我的宝宝我都会想起小时候我妈妈抱着我的情景，这就是生命的奇妙之处。 也忽然理解了，自己的父母曾经为自己做的一些事情。 在提及成为妈妈的感受，Vanessa除了满满的幸福感之外，自己的同理心的感受就更加真实，在与人沟通和解决问题的时候， 似乎更容易解决矛盾。
Vanessa的性格里同时具有活泼与沉稳两种截然不同的特质。生活上，她努力经营、用力享受；工作上，她以成熟稳重的态度面对客户。“我每次给到客户的方案都会最大化满足他们的需求，并站在他们的角度思考问题”，Vanessa表示自己对待客户永远是有耐心和同理心的，“我很少直接否定客户的提议和想法，即使根据我的经验很难行得通，我也会与他们一同尝试，因为工作上我并不怕困难，相反的是我特别喜欢迎难而上、攻克难关。”
“同理心”、“责任心”、“不惧困难”这些特质塑造了如今的Vanessa，追寻与不舍“爱与自由”的人生观也帮助她尽情享受生活和工作，一路修行。

Vanessa is an experienced Mortgage Advisor and she has accumulated a wealth of work experience from the Bank of China, and other securities and foreign exchange companies. She is currently working at Oceantide Wealth. “Love and freedom are my pursuits in life,” Vanessa says, “living and working in the UK is the way I chose. When I say Love, it is not limited to my partner, but also towards London, my life and my previous memories”
After graduation, Vanessa worked as a loan consultant at the Bank of China London Branch. When she was asked the reasons why joining Ocean Tide Ltd, she explained that she preferred Ocean Tide’s culture and value she wanted to enhance herself in the workplace, “absorbing water like a sponge and opening myself up like a spring, I have met a group of like-minded and excellent colleagues here, each of whom has qualities I appreciate, strong communication and collaboration skills and charisma.” Vanessa enjoys interacting with people as it is the most efficient way for people to advance knowledge.
In life, Vanessa lives hard and enjoys herself; in work, she becomes serious and mature. “Vanessa is always patient and empathetic with her clients, “I rarely reject their proposals and ideas, even if they are difficult to achieve according to my experience. I will try my best to help them, as I am not afraid of difficulties in my work, in a contrary, I enjoy overcoming difficulties.”
“Empathy”, “responsibility” and “no fear of difficulties” are the qualities that have shaped today’s Vanessa and the pursuit of “love and freedom” has helped her enjoy life and work to the fullest.
